SMYRNA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities in Rutherford County continue to search for a man accused of firing shots into a crowd of people.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 21-year-old Brandon Mulac.
Investigators said Mulac fired three rounds outside a home on Keystone Drive in Smyrna where a group of adults and children were gathered on Tuesday.
No one was injured in the shooting but two of the rounds struck the occupied home.
Mulac, of Peachtree Drive, is wanted for attempted first-degree murder, according to detectives. He and a companion drove to the home with the intention of fighting with a man at the home.
“Brandon fired three rounds in the yard where seven people were standing, some of whom were children,” said Detective Jamin Humphress. “He is still on the run. We expect him to be armed and dangerous.”
Mulac was charged in 2012 with two counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of theft over $10,000 after multiple residences in Eagleville were burglarized.
Anyone with information of Mulac’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office at 615-898-7770.
